Kate is an accomplished soprano who would have appeared in her tenth season with the Metropolitan Opera as a full time chorister before the 2020-21 season was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Kate has a keen interest in helping singers find their true voices through her fun, energetic, honest, clear, and humorous approach to vocal technique.


Kate currently maintains a virtual studio and looks forward to returning to in-person instruction soon.


Kate Mangiameli is a classically trained soprano, current member of the Metropolitan Opera Chorus, voice teacher, and published author.

Kate completed both her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in vocal performance from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. After 10 years of a solo career, she accepted a full-time soprano position with the Metropolitan Opera Chorus.
